Ollihess Gong Mallet S174

Ollihess Gong Mallets are made in Germany . They are lighter in weight and have smaller heads than the typical Paiste mallets and thus allow for more varied sounds.

Their wooden handles are comfortable in the hand. Compared to other mallets on the market the larger sizes have thicker handles that some find easier to hold especially if you have a larger hand. Sizes above M174 have tapered bottoms so that you know where the end of the handle is.

M70 is particularly useful for rolls and playing two mallets in one hand. The M174 and M305 are short handled. They are especially useful for seated playing or for smaller gongs.

Red Doors carries these mallets in Red and Black however other colours are available on request.
