RED DOOR STUDIO FOUNDER

Red Doors Studio founder Martha Collard has lived in Hong Kong for 40 years. Martha’s career and life paths have followed a common theme: elevating others. Stepping down from her position as youngest Partner worldwide in TASA, a Swiss based executive search firm in 1992, Martha established her own company to offer management consulting on a project basis to the corporate sector. She is an executive coach, management consultant, professional facilitator, and career counsellor, and most recently she served as Vice President of Group Organisational Wellness for Lane Crawford Joyce Group.

Initially, she pursued alternative practices out of curiosity; then they became a source of personal growth and development. She has explored Life Dynamics, Reiki, Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana meditation, Person Centred Approach to Counselling, Access Bars, Yuen Method and labyrinths, among others. She was the founding chairman of the Yoga Society of Hong Kong and founding Editor of Namaskar magazine and is pursuing higher levels of sound therapy and Kundalini yoga training. Her focus is on labyrinths, gong meditation and Kundalini yoga, which have given her balance, strength and understanding. Red Doors Studio is the platform through which she shares her skills and knowledge by making these ancient intuitive practices relevant and accessible.

To this end she works with Maggie’s Cancer Support Centre, Cancerlink, the Nesbitt Centre, special needs families, as well as a number of schools such as HKIS, the Harbour School, Kellet, Island School, CDNIS and the scouting movement. In 2015, she introduced walking meditation on labyrinths to the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan for 34,000 scouts from all over the world.

One woman, two hands, one purpose, fuelled by a passion to help others.
