With the sun over the equator day equals night signalling the changing of the seasons. Today we celebrate not only the 11th anniversary of Red Doors Studiobut also the first day of Spring.

We invite you to a full day of community activities led by Martha as well as collaborators. That evening we transition into a multi player, multi instrument equinox performance. After a short break we begin our all night gong puja.

Come for one or two events or spend the day. We suggest registering in advance as space is limited for some of the events.

0930-1100 Circle of Hope w/ Martha for Cancer Survivors/ family/friends

1130-1230 Floating Zen w/ Yumi - Immersive gong in hammocks

1330-1445 Infinite Flow w/ Nat&Steph- Energy healing & gong

1500-1630 Dream Circle w/ Makin- Guided visualisation with drum& gong

1700-1830 Cha-Gong w/Eames & Martha- Immersive master tea ceremony

1830-1930 Gotta Hit a Gong for all night gong preparation

1900-2000 Puja ceremony prep for gong players

2030-2130 Gong Equinox Puja ceremony (open to puja participants as well as general public)

2200 Begin all night gong playing until 0700 Sunday morning

We welcome participants for just the celebration, for the all night gong bath or both.

During the day purchase a souvenir from our exclusive studio collection, learn to make origami tulips, have an aura image, lie down on a healing crystal mat or just chill with like minded souls.

The day time events are free however we do encourage donations to support our cancer charities. Evening events are paid for participantion.

ALL NIGHT GONG BATH EXPLAINED

Imagine floating all night on a continuous sound wave -If you thought 45 minutes of gong relaxation was great, multiply it by a factor of 10. You will feel rejuvenated and recharged and the cleansing effect of the gongs will be felt for many days afterwards.

For those who have been previously, they know the sense of community felt by sharing a unique, spiritual yet highly personal experience. You will leave feeling gratitude, harmony and most importantly peace.

If new to gongs, come beforehand learn to play sufficiently to play during the night (with supervision).

Or come as an experienced player meaning you have attended either a previous puja as a player or attended level 1 gong training.

Or come as a sleeper to receive.

Priority to experienced gong players and partners. Participants must be aged 12 and above.

We rotate throughout the night in 30 minute shifts to produce a sound current to maintain the magic. You are free to lie down, sleep, sit or meditate, whichever is most comfortable for you. Light refreshments are available during the night in the pantry.The gong puja starts from 2030 and continues to sunrise the next day followed by a continental breakfast. Suitable for all age groups (12 and above), no experience necessary and beneficial to all.  We finish with a transition of homemade yogi spiced tea and Martha’s infamous brownies.

Pricing - HK$350 / session or use a package for $1800 / 6 sessions. Seniors over 65 and full time students $175.

Bring - Wear comfortable clothes that you may sit and then lie down in. Changing facilities available..You are welcome to bring your favourite crystals to be recharged.

Getting Here - By MTR exit Wong Chuk Hang station off the South Island Line, take exit B. Walk to far end of pedestrian overpass, down the steps and turn left onto Yip Kan Rd.  We are the third  car park opening on left, if you see a fire hydrant, you are there.  Enter through the back of building after 1800, not the entrance on Wong Chuk Hang Rd. Parking available on the street at night.

Studio Etiquette - You may enter 15 minutes before class, please leave shoes, coats, phones and personal belongings in the cubbies by the door. To facilitate a meditative environment, please leave your phone on silent, outside the room. Please be considerate for the needs of others.  Most people come to classes to de-stress and claim quiet time. Enter the studio quietly, keep your voices low prior to class. If a person wishes to be silent, please respect their space. You may arrive and enter the room quietly up to 15 min after the designated start time. No entry allowed after that time.

Latecomers - Class will begin on time.  If you are late, please wait until the tuning in mantras are completed and enter with minimum disturbance to the others prior to the beginning of gong play.

End of class - Please help us maintain the studio by returning all props to their original locations. Blankets folded neatly in rectangles, mats stacked on the trolley. Take responsibility for washing your own tea cup.  We appreciate you feeling as though the studio is an extension of your own home and appreciate your help in keeping it tidy, clean and welcoming.

Cancellations - If you are unable to attend a group event that you have registered for, email to reschedule up until three hours before on the day of the event at no penalty. You may find a replacement or you may reschedule for a similarly priced event once within a period of six weeks from the registered event. Otherwise you will forfeit the fee and if paid by a package, it will be deducted from your total. Packages are valid for three months from date of purchase. You will be sent a reminder prior to their expiration date. They are non-extendable.
