Shaman - Journey Circle
A Shamanic journey - is a method of attaining an altered state of consciousness during non-ordinary reality. This state is induced with repetitive soundings, such as drums or rattles. Journeying provides access to a higher wisdom where spiritual guidance and healing is granted. Shamanic journeys have been practiced by many indigenous cultures for thousands of years and they are believed to be the most ancient way of meditation known to humanity. During the journeys we recognize and honor the "self" in the stillness and quietness of our inner center!
The purpose of this meditation is to create relaxation, spiritual growth, and personal transformation. Meditation calms, clears, and transcends the chattering of our minds. A regular practice of meditation can open one to insights, calmness, balance, profound joy, and has many documented health benefits, including stress reduction and pain reduction.
• Thoroughly ground you in a life-changing practice for spiritual inquiry that fits easily into even the busiest schedule.
• Help you to explore and relate to unfamiliar fields of consciousness safely.
• Cultivate new virtues and capacities, from courage to compassion, empowered by your helping spirit allies
• As you develop these capabilities, you take on an added dimension of intuitive knowing and healing insight.
• You begin to perceive through your heart and mind at the same time, access information from other levels of reality,
• You become more embodied, whole and empowered, living in greater attunement with your body and the needs of those around you.
We will have two 15 minutes journeys. Drum healing for the group. Singing and dancing with our spirits using drums and rattles. Newbie’s are welcome.
