Puja, May 20, 2017
Saturday May 20 - Sunday May 21, 2017
2000 Saturday Evening to Sunday Morning 0600
The full moon typically helps us put action to manifest our dreams .If you thought 45 minutes of gong meditation was great, try 10 hours. You will have a smile on your face as you float in perfect peace on the sound on the gongs.
Come as a participant or learn to play the gongs in the afternoon and then join as a player. We rotate throughout the night in 30 minute shifts to produce just enough sound to maintain the magic. The gong puja starts from 8pm until sunrise the next day followed by continental breakfast.
Wear comfortable clothes, usually white in color and bring a pillow if you need it. We have mats and blankets. You will leave feeling intense calm.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class for an enhanced relaxation experience. After 1800 use entrance in the rear of building on Yip Kan Street.
Please be considerate of the needs and wishes of others. Most people come to classes to de-stress and claim quiet time. If a person clearly wants to be silent or not engage, please respect their space. We encourage a community spirit to develop and encourage quiet conversation before or after class.
Entering the Studio
Feel free to enter 15 minutes before class.
Please leave shoes, coats, phones and personal belongings in the cubbies by the door.
To facilitate a meditative environment, it is mandatory that your phone is on silent, (not vibrate).
If the studio door is closed, please do not disturb by entering. A closed door means that a Practice is in session.
Class will begin on time with the door being locked when class has started, no late comers will be admitted and we will kindly ask that you come to a different class.
