Red Doors Studio Founder
Red Doors Studio founder Martha Collard has lived in Hong Kong for 30 years. Martha’s career and life paths have followed a common theme: elevating others. Stepping down from her position as youngest Partner worldwide in TASA, a Swiss executive search firm in 1992, Martha established her own company to offer management consulting on a project basis to the corporate sector. She is an executive coach, management consultant and career counsellor, and most recently she acted as Vice President of Group Organisational Wellness for Lane Crawford Joyce Group.
Initially, she pursued alternative practices out of curiosity; then they became a source of personal growth and development. She has explored Life Dynamics, Reiki, Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana meditation, Person Centred Approach to Counselling, Access Bars, Yuen Method and labyrinths, among others. She was the founding chairman of the Yoga Society of Hong Kong and founding Editor of Namaskar magazine and is pursuing higher levels of yoga therapy training and sound healing. These days, she focuses on labyrinths, gong meditation and Kundalini yoga, which have given her balance, strength and understanding. Red Doors Studio is the platform through which she shares her skills and knowledge by making these ancient intuitive practices relevant.
As well as offering regular gong meditation to cancer patients, Martha is involved with the scouting movement. In the summer of 2015, she introduced labyrinths to the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan, where she facilitated and taught walking meditation for 34,000 scouts from all over the world.
Martha is a Board Certified Coach, Certified Career Facilitator, and is an adjunct coach with the Center for Creative Leadership and Leadership in Motion. She is accredited in a number of psychometrics, including MBTI Step ll, Benchmarks 360, SHL OPQ, Harrison Assessment, and Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching… to name just a few. She was the Founding Vice President, International Coach Federation HK Branch and most recently was a guest speaker at the World Coaching Congress, in Mumbai and presented at TEDx in Hong Kong.
