I am a procrastinator, especially when it means clearing closets. Reminiscing over when I wore a dress that honestly I will NEVER fit into again or perusing books and files accumulated over 25 years of consulting made me focus on Is it useful? Is it beautiful? or Can I live without it? It is not an easy task for me to let go of that which has defined me over the years. Fortunately I found happy new homes for the bags of memories.
This also applies to other areas of our lives. Letting go of what was unlocks freedom for growth. This is not to dismiss what once was, but rather, Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.- Albert Einstein .
