Regardless where in the world we are, there is an expression, 'When pigs can fly' implying it will never happen. To me this is self limiting and rather than saying 'never', I think 'why not?'. While we are still basking in the glow of the super full moon this week, I invite you to imagine something seemingly impossible. For the last snowball Mark 6 I dreamt of what I would do with 100 Million dollars. Needless to say I did not win, but I did start to re-imagine my Big Hairy Audacious Goal.
In my career counselling sessions I suggest Randy Pausche's Last Lecture. As a young boy in the midwest he dreamt of going into space and to work for Disney. Both dreams he fulfilled in his lifetime. However at the time they were simply impossible figments of his imagination and he did not know how it would come to be.
They can because they think they can. Virgil
This week I invite you to illuminate and articulate your big goal. Imagine it, feel it, experience it in your mind. Believe in the impossible for as science and the yogis tell us, we act as magnets through our intentions, thoughts and words to attract that which we desire. Just remember, there is more than one way to reach a goal and sometimes it just requires lateral thinking.
With sufficient thrust pigs fly just fine. - anon
