People come into our lives for a reason, a season or lifetime. Like the tides rising and falling each day so do relationships. In the case of our mothers though the tide is always full, they love, protect and care for us throughout their entire lifetime. We mature and may become parents ourselves ending up separated by distance and our busy lives. However our moms are always there, to listen, support and offer unconditional love.
Yesterday a good friend lost her mom after a prolonged illness. The depth of emotion of her loss is great, yet although her mom's presence in the physical sense is gone, she is comforted by the fond memories and to sense her mom's love whenever she chooses.. This is undying.

It was wonderful to play at IRIS on the weekend for hundreds of yogis in the open air on grass at sunset.
Go well, go in peace.
